VEX IQ Robotics Course (Aged 6-16)​

Course Overview

Through robotic programming, learn scientific research methods and cross-curricular knowledge, including information technology, natural sciences and mathematics.

The VEX IQ course of the center will introduce the use of various basic electronic devices with programming, and the programming software is simple to use. Even if students do not have a background in electronic and electrical subjects, they can easily learn to use VEX IQ, so as long as they have basic computer operations Ability can learn.

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn about robotics and mechanical design

  • Understand the basic application of VEX IQ robot

  • Students can master basic programming skills and concepts, including functions, conditional statements, loops and variables

  • Students can use robots to program

  • Improve imagination through standardized components of the VEX IQ platform

  • Enjoy practical experience in programming, electronics, and robotics to increase children's creativity

  • Inspire students' creative thinking

  • Lead students or recommend to participate in public competitions

  • After completing a semester, the children will show the knowledge they learned during the semester to the parents to watch

1.5 Hours a week x 12 Lessons

  • Understand the structure and parts of the robot

  • Understand the information flow: input, process, and output

  • Basic programming knowledge

  • Robot automatic programming

  • Remote control program programming

  • Sensor programming

  • Competition practice

  • A creative mind :)
